Hands on, information packed education classes to help you prepare for birth and early parenting


CBE at OBC: 2-Week Class

This interactive childbirth education class is an approachable way to understand the things you need to know while navigating the end of pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early days after having a baby.

The class meets one time a week for two weeks. Each session is 4.5 hours long and includes breaks.

Registration is for two people.

This class is open to the public, you do not have to be a birth center client to attend our classes.

We will cover coping techniques for the end of pregnancy, medical decision making, communication, birth planning, coping techniuqes for labor and birth, information on the first days after birth, and newborn care options.

Our class welcomes discussion and student participation. There will be time for hands on practice of labor coping techniques.

Our class includes information on all labor and birth options available to those giving birth in Central Ohio and is geared towards unmedicated birth.
